Job description

The role involves assisting in vulnerability assessments, collaborating with various teams to remediate security issues, and supporting compliance initiatives. Required skills include 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, understanding of security principles and tools, and strong analytical skills.

Responsibility

• Assist in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to remediate security issues in applications and infrastructure.
• Support compliance and regulatory initiatives by aligning security best practices with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Research and stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Document security policies, procedures, and assessment findings to improve internal security practices.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security assessments, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of security principles, including OWASP Top 10, network security, encryption, and familiarity with security tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap, and Metasploit.
• Exposure to scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Java).
• Experience working with Linux, Windows, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
