The role involves providing engineering and operational support for Ford's cybersecurity tools, responding to incidents, collaborating for updates, and automating tasks to improve process efficiency. Skills required include experience in endpoint protection tools, cloud computing, Python or Java development, and a passion for maintaining high levels of security expertise.

Responsibility

• Provide engineering and operational support for Ford's corporate Cyber Security Tools.
• Respond to infrastructure and Cyber security incidents.
• Collaborate with product vendors to coordinate distribution of regular updates/patches.
• Test and implement vendor product upgrades.
• Work with various infrastructure and application support teams to provide technical direction and address security issues.
• Implement and customize security scans for individual clients and servers.
• Design, test, and implement security policies for critical Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Automate repeatable tasks, workflows to improve efficiency by developing APIs/scripts and deploying to cloud.
• Ensure endpoint security systems are configured and maintained according to security best practices and standards.
• Research and evaluate new security technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and maintain technical expertise in endpoint security.

Qualifications

• A relevant Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in engineering/computer applications.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in design, development, testing, and implementation of Endpoint Security solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with tools like Microsoft Defender, SEP, DLP.
• 3+ years of endpoint security experience, malware response, and/or security operations.
• 1+ years of experience in application/API development using Python or Java.
• Experience in DevSecOps, cloud computing (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Pro-active, independent, and resourceful personality.
• Security Certifications.
• Experience with SaaS products.
