Job description

The job involves design, development, and execution of scientific research projects to enhance secure computing, cryptographic algorithms, and Intel's hardware and software products. Required skills include proficiency in C, Kernel, Assembly, Python programming, and strong understanding of CPU and Micro-Architecture.

Responsibility

• Initiates and implements scientific research projects for secure computing and cryptographic algorithms.
• Ensures products conform to standards, evaluates threat assessments, and conducts vulnerability assessments.
• Works with other researchers to develop ethical hacking skills and networking product knowledge.
• Develops tools and processes to close gaps in existing security test automation.
• Researches technological trends and collaborates to find innovative solutions for customer issues.
• Influences external research and raises the profile of conducted research through publications, patents, and talks.
• Works with engineering design teams to determine product requirements and feasibility of technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems.
• 4+ years of experience in Security Domain.
• Proficiency in C, Kernel, Assembly, and Python programming.
• Strong understanding of CPU Architecture and Micro-Architecture.
• Experience in building and debugging kernels and writing kernel modules.
• Experience using configuration management tools like GitHub.
• Experience in developing automated applications, tools and exploits.
• Familiarity with Secure development life cycle and Static Analysis Tools.
• Strong English communication skills.
