Job description

The job involves working as a Linux security administrator with a focus on kernel updates/patching and requires significant experience with Ansible and Chef, as well as expertise in scripting and writing automations. The position requires the individual to work on the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications in a highly secure environment.

Responsibility

• Applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems.
• Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance.
• Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
• Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Linux security administrator.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Ansible, Ansible Tower.
• Minimum 3 years of experience scripting and writing automations.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working hands on with Chef.
• Requires a background working as an IT security engineer.
