Job description

The Senior Security Officer will manage security projects and enhance capabilities to meet unique security requirements of public sectors and regulated industries in India, involving collaboration with internal teams, government authorities, and adherence to strict compliance

Responsibility

• Support government security requirements for all SAP entities in India.
• Play a leading role in developing technological solutions for Digital Sovereignty.
• Produce and maintain documentation for security certification.
• Participate in APJ Government Security team and global alignment activities.
• Develop reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Manage information and improve its life cycle management.
• Serve as an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Cyber Security, etc.
• Significant experience in delivering technology and/or information management projects.
• Experience in Business Analyst, Project Management, Security Management, or Information Management roles.
• Knowledge of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud technologies.
• Experience with security controls implementation and/or management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of government security regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
