Job description

This job involves working as a Cyber Security Analyst in a security operations center environment where you will monitor and investigate IT security alerts, determine threat sources, and make remediation recommendations. Responsibility

• Monitoring and investigating IT security alerts.
• Perform analysis of security events from multiple sources.
• Determine the source of the threat and extent of compromise.
• Making recommendations for remediation.
• Interface with clients via chat, tickets, and phone calls.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in raw log files review, data correlation, and analysis.
• Awareness of Information Security concepts.
• Previous customer support experience including incident handling and reporting.
• Good technical communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Client-focused with a passion for delivering service excellence.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
• Possess high standard of integrity and confidentiality.
• 1-3 years of experience in relevant areas.
• Industry certification from vendors such as ISC2, GIAC, EC-Council, Cisco, Juniper, CompTIA, ITIL, Unix, Microsoft, Oracle.
