Job description

The role of Consultant, Cyber Incident Response involves handling complex security incidents, providing advanced analysis, and supporting L1 and L2 analysts in Dell Technologies' cybersecurity team. It requires over 10 years of experience in incident response, familiarity with various cyber-attacks and a strong background in security and web technologies.

Responsibility

  • Serve as a global escalation point for complex cybersecurity incidents.
  • Provide guidance and training to L1 and L2 analysts.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of security incidents to determine root cause and impact.
  • Investigate large data sets and lead post incident reviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve the incident response process.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall related experience in cybersecurity Incident Response.
  • Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center.
  • Exceptional ability to conduct cybersecurity investigations and analyze findings.
  • Strong knowledge of security and web technologies such as SIEM, EDR, and networking protocols.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix platforms.
  • Industry recognized certification (CISSP, SANS GCIH, GCIA, GNFA, GREM, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience in Digital Forensics, reverse malware tools, and scripting languages.
